KEY STRENGTHS
1. Full-Raster 4K UHD (12G-SDI) Performance Across Full Architecture: While many other production switchers lose M/E (Mix/Effect) layer, keyer, or bus capacities when switching to 4K processing mode, the Grass Valley K-Frame XP (CXP) platform processes Full-raster 4K UHD (2160p50) across 3 M/Es and all keyer/DVE pipelines without any hardware restrictions or performance loss.
2. Advanced M/E and Flexibility Licenses (DoubleTake & FlexiKey): Thanks to the DoubleTake license, a single M/E layer can be split into two independent M/E structures to manage Aux Bus transitions and additional broadcast feeds. FlexiKey offers programmable, customized Clean Feed outputs, making international live sports and event broadcasts effortless to manage with or without graphics.
3. Integrated Hardware Ecosystem (ImageStore, Color Correction, iDPM): Completely eliminates the need for external devices:
- • ImageStore (128 GB RAM Record): Playouts clip/still animated graphics and stinger transitions directly from internal memory to air.
- • 32-Channel RGB Color Corrector: Offers independent color correction across all M/E buses and output levels, eliminating external legalizer/frame sync costs.
- • 3D iDPM & Kurl Effects: Handles page-turn, page-roll, lighting, and non-linear 3D effects within the switcher chassis without requiring external DVE units.
4. Ergonomics and Operational Reliability Tailored for Live/OB Van Environments: World-standard Karrera modular panels deliver familiar ergonomics for directors and vision mixers, reducing operational risk to a minimum. Robust redundant power supply (Redundant PSU) architecture and hotswappable modularity ensure maximum uptime during live broadcasts in van or studio setups.
ON-SITE APPLICATION AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
1. Integration and Cabling:
- • Router and tally integration with existing Harris/Platinum, Harris Panacea, and Predator II systems (automatic name transfer via Mnemonic display).
- • All video cabling implemented using Halogen-Free, Low Smoke / Flame Retardant (IEC 60754, IEC 60332, IEC 61034) standard cables and BNC sleeves.
- • Redundant power supplies (Redundant PSU) and Locking IEC connectors on devices.
2. Field Installation, Process, and Training:
- • StartPRO Commissioning & Integration: On-site installation, commissioning, and synchronization by expert engineering teams from Grass Valley and AVITENG (AVT-INS & SWITCHER-SP-25).
- • Training Package: 3 days of Operational Training, 2 days of Maintenance / Technical Configuration Training (backed by certified documentation in Turkish).
