KADEM FOUNDATION MEETING HALLS

Istanbul / Turkey

ABOUT THE PROJECT

KADEM (Women and Democracy Foundation) is a respected non-governmental organization standing out with its pioneering efforts toward women's rights, social justice, and strengthening the family structure. In line with the foundation's vision, the installation of two meeting and seminar halls was targeted in its new facility, which is designed to host high-quality trainings, international panels, conferences, and strategic meetings.

Project Details

  • Project Year: 2026
  • Location: Istanbul / Turkey
  • Partner: Edya Yapı

In this project, where AVITENG undertook the design and implementation processes, the audio, video, and control infrastructure in both halls of the foundation was completely renewed end-to-end. BEC Akustik and Relacart Dante speaker systems delivering sound tailored to the architectural texture of the upper and lower floor halls, high-resolution Canon PTZ broadcast cameras, and ATEN smart automation architecture were integrated.

Thanks to the integration carried out, complex AV infrastructures have been made easily manageable from a single point; two modern halls capable of seamlessly meeting KADEM's dynamic meeting, presentation, and live broadcast needs were put into service.

WHAT WE DID

AUDIO SYSTEMS

  • Architectural and Performance-Oriented Speaker Solutions:
    • - Upper Floor Hall: High-performance, thin, and decorative BEC Akustik speakers matching the aesthetic texture of the space were installed.
    • - Lower Floor Hall: Relacart Dante speaker systems delivering high-quality and low-latency audio transmission over digital audio networks were integrated.
  • Digital Audio Mixer Integration: A Relacart digital audio mixer was integrated into the system to perform audio processing, routing, and level controls for both halls.
  • Wireless Microphone and Antenna Infrastructure: Relacart wireless handheld and lapel microphones were included in the system to ensure flexible usage in both halls. To maximize signal strength and prevent signal loss, Relacart active antenna splitter systems were placed at the central point of both halls.

VIDEO SYSTEMS

  • Canon PTZ Camera: A total of 2 Canon PTZ cameras were installed in both halls for meetings and events.
  • Video Signal Converters: RGBlink SDI to HDMI converter modules were used to integrate SDI video signals from Canon cameras into the automation and video transmission system without loss.
  • Widescreen Display and Extenders: 93" widescreen displays were mounted in both halls. ATEN HDMI Extender devices were placed behind the screens to ensure lossless, high-quality video transmission over long distances.

AUTOMATION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

  • ATEN Central Automation Architecture: ATEN smart automation systems were installed and scenario programming was completed for easy management of all AV (Audio/Video) equipment in both halls, including cameras, mixers, speakers, and displays, from a single point.

INSTALLATION, CABLING, AND RACK CABINET INFRASTRUCTURE

  • Professional Rack Cabinet Design: Separate rack cabinet installations were carried out for each hall. Receivers for all devices, mixers, switchers, and control units were carefully mounted in the cabinets.
  • Network and Signal Termination: All network/signal cables coming from floor boxes, Dante speakers, behind TV screens, and peripheral points were labeled and routed to the Patch Panel, then patched to the network switch.
  • Cable Management and Cabinet Organization: Cable management (dressing) was conducted to prevent cable clutter inside the cabinets and facilitate maintenance; the entire system was tested and delivered seamlessly ready for use.
