ABOUT THE PROJECT
Established in 1992 under an international agreement between Turkey and France, Galatasaray University is a well-established state university located at its historical campus in Beşiktaş Ortaköy, on the shores of the Bosphorus, Istanbul. As part of the Galatasaray tradition, the university ranks among the most respected academic institutions in Turkey and worldwide; it stands out with its international-standard education, historic buildings, and high-quality academic and administrative events.

We carried out a comprehensive sound system installation to modernize the audio infrastructure of the conference room at Galatasaray University and make meeting/seminar processes more efficient.
In accordance with the acoustic structure of the hall and operational requirements, we chose professional audio solutions from Relacart. As part of the project, we completed the physical installation of all devices, carefully routed signal and power cabling, and commissioned the system into full operation.
WHAT WE DID
- Relacart Wireless Handheld and Lavalier Microphone Installation: We integrated Relacart wireless handheld microphones and easily clip-on lavalier microphones to allow speakers and presenters to move freely within the hall.
- Relacart Lectern Microphone Installation: We installed a Relacart lectern microphone on the podium, providing clear, uninterrupted, and noise-free audio transmission for speeches and official presentations.
- Relacart Professional Mixer Integration: We installed and configured a Relacart mixer unit to manage all audio sources in the hall (lectern, handheld, and lavalier microphones) in a balanced manner from a single central point.
- Speaker Installation and Acoustic Positioning: We mounted 2 high-performance speakers at optimal angles to ensure even, clear, and echo-free sound distribution throughout every point of the room.
- Cabling, Testing, and Commissioning: All audio and power cable connections between devices were routed according to professional standards. We completed necessary audio tests, frequency conflict checks, and acoustic balancing to deliver a flawless system.
Result
Thanks to the infrastructure and integration work carried out, the conference room at Galatasaray University has gained a modern audio system in terms of both technical capability and ease of use.
The Relacart handheld, lavalier, and lectern microphones used ensured high speech clarity during meetings and presentations; the professional mixer and strategically positioned speakers achieved balanced sound distribution across the room. While wireless solutions offered speakers freedom of movement, seamless cabling and commissioning processes delivered a high-quality, prestigious conference environment that the university can utilize for many years to come.
