Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Representative to establish and lead our operations in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Qatari market, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in business development and account management within the technology integration sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop and execute a robust business development strategy to expand AVITENG’s market share in Qatar and other GCC countries.
- Identify high-potential market segments and clients in industries such as film & broadcasting, IT & communication, audiovisual, building electronics, industrial, defense and satellite communications.
- Actively prospect and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities, leveraging industry networks and targeted outreach efforts.
- Drive the preparation and delivery of compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
Key Account Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet client expectations and align with AVITENG’s standards of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with clients to identify opportunities for additional services, upgrades, or solutions that align with their business goals.
Market Building Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to launch AVITENG’s services in Qatar and in GCC, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and identification of strategic opportunities.
- Establish partnerships with local entities, vendors, and stakeholders to strengthen AVITENG’s presence and reputation in the market.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Work closely with AVITENG’s headquarters to align business goals and operational strategies.
- Assemble and lead a local team, if required, ensuring effective execution of business initiatives.
- Represent AVITENG at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and forge valuable connections.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Provide regular updates on business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to AVITENG’s leadership team.
- Ensure all business operations comply with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and account management within the technology integration industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and close high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of the Qatari market, business culture, and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing market entry strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and in Arabic.
